Vintage Polish Folk Costume Doll 14″ Red Embroidered Dress Lace Boots Scarf 1950s
Condition: Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of age and wear, including some fraying and loose threads on the collar and bodice, and minor marks on the face and clothing. No visible maker marks or labels. Perfect for collectors of Eastern European cultural dolls or mid-century display pieces. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.
This charming vintage 1950s Polish folk girl doll stands approximately 14 inches tall. She has a jointed cloth body with a Celliode plastic/composition mask face featuring hand-painted blue eyes, brows, rosy cheeks, and lips. Her blonde molded/painted hair is covered by a removable floral-print headscarf tied at the neck.
Her traditional Polish folk costume includes a red embroidered dress with black velvet vest, decorative red buttons, and an attached sheer white floral apron overlay & her head scarf. Underneath, she wears lace-trimmed bloomers and tights-style legs. Her white cloth boots are stitched with red lace detail (non-removable, minor wear).
