Vintage Native American Nemadji Bisque Pottery Bud Vase Green Swirl Design
This listing is for this beautiful Nemadji pottery vase.
The pottery was created using white clay native to the Moose Lake, Minnesota area and left in an unglazed, bisque state. The unique, swirled design was achieved by dipping the unglazed pot in paint. Nemadji pottery was created between 1929 and 1972. No two pieces look exactly alike because of the random swirl process.
The name "Nemadji" is an Ojibway word meaning "left-handed".
It is in beautiful vintage condition, no nicks or cracks, just a few scuff marks. Please view all of the photos for overall condition. I try to describe my items as much as possible and photos are a big part or the description, including measurements not included in description.
