Charming vintage ceramic rooster pitcher by Mario Gatti (Italy). This whimsical creamer features a bright yellow rooster head with open beak, red comb, and detailed eyes, on a deep blue body with hand-painted green leaves and brown floral accents. The interior and scalloped rim have a reddish-brown glaze. Marked on the bottom with the Mario Gatti shield stamp (see photo). Measurements (approx): Height: ~3.5" Width ~3.5" Condition: Good vintage condition with light crazing, minor glaze wear, and patina consistent with age (visible in photos). No chips or cracks. Fully functional. This cheerful rooster pitcher is perfect for collectors of Italian majolica, farm/animal-themed ceramics, or as a fun creamer for milk/cream, syrup, or just decorative display on a kitchen shelf!
