Vintage Lefton? Donkey Burro Single Shaker Figurine

This adorable donkey figural shaker has spaghetti mane and tail. It measures approximately 4×3.25×2.25 inches and is in good used condition. I believe it is a Lefton piece. The only marking is the number 587 on the bottom.
