I also foster kittens for our local SPCA but in my spare time I love collecting anything vintage but especially glass and pottery. Thifting is my passion. For me it's like playing a game of hide and seek. The treasures are hiding and I seek them out. There is no greater thrill than finding the one special "thing" that was hiding in plain sight.

Vintage Black Amethyst Vase

Black glass swung vase also called a funeral vase. Ruffled top and when viewing through bottom in a light source it appears purple in color inside the vase. Could be made by LE Smith but unconfirmed. 18” height and 7 1/2” across the top ruffle.
