Vintage Artisan-Signed Japanese Blue & White Porcelain Yunomi Tea Cups (Pair)

This listing is for this beautiful, authentic pair of vintage Japanese yunomi (daily tea cups) featuring traditional Sometsuke (underglaze blue-and-white) hand-painted designs. Each cup is intricately detailed with classic Japanese botanical motifs, including segmented bamboo stalks, elegant plum blossoms (ume), and floral branches. The base of each cup features a handwritten underglaze cobalt blue artisan signature in Japanese hiragana script reading "み" (Mi), indicating specialized studio pottery production. These cups feature a bright white, high-gloss porcelain glaze with a clean, unglazed foot ring, characteristic of mid-to-late 20th-century post-war Japanese craftsmanship. Perfect for enjoying loose-leaf green tea or displaying as functional art pieces in a Japandi-style kitchen or home decor collection. Condition: Excellent vintage condition! Both cups are perfect with absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or flea bites. The glaze remains bright, smooth, and glossy. Approximate Dimensions: The cups are approximately 4” tall by 2.4” in diameter.
