Vintage ('87) Shenango China Individual Teapot, SHO4 Pattern (The Greenbrier)
This vintage Shenango China individual teapot from 1987 features their SHO4 pattern, the pattern that Homer Laughlin China created for the Greenbrier Resort in 1947. The round ceramic teapot is sturdy restaurant ware used to serve tea for one. With a lid included, this collectible item showcases mid-century modernism style with their rhododendron flower on both sides of the teapot. Made in the United States, this original piece weighs 11.3 ounces and measures 5.7 inches in length, 4.5 inches in height, and 3.5 inches in width. The date code on the teapot is Q-45, indicating it was made between January-June in 1987. The teapot and lid are in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is some light scuffing in spots (see last 3 pictures).
