Vintage Richard Beck Studio Art Glass Large "Sun" Paperweight

Stunning hand blown & encased art glass paperweight created by artisan, Richard (Rick) Beck. Richard Beck is a studio artist who was based in Spruce Pine, NC for 30 years before moving to Hawaii in 2020. He is know for large-scale cast glass sculptures depicting industrial, everyday objects and the human figure. This "Sun" series paperweight measures 6" x 6" and features a central design of colorful swirls, surrounded by opal white glass fragments and dotted with multicolored glass "confetti" strips. Signed Beck 2000. Weight: 4 pounds. Excellent condition.
