Caithness Moulin Rouge Art Glass Paperweight, Scotland, 2002
This beautiful art glass paperweight, called "Moulin Rouge," is from the 2002 Caithness Summer Collection Series. Designed for Caithness Art Glass of Scotland by Helen MacDonald. The stunning reds, pinks and purples represent the colorful silks, beads and feathers of the cabaret Can-Can dancers' costumes of long ago Paris. Paperweight is 3" and in good condition. There is a small surface scratch that I have pointed out in the last photo. The first marked photo is of a pinpoint flaw not a scratch. The bottom has a scratch visible in the photos (not marked).
