Vintage 1950s Fenton Milk Glass Hobnail Large Fan Vase, 3959 Footed, 8" x 8"

This vintage large Fenton Milk Glass Hobnail Fan Vase is a beautifully crafted piece of mid-century modern decor. Made in Williamstown, West Virginia in the 1960s, this vase features their crimped edge and hobnail pattern. The vase pre-dates the impressed Fenton logo, dating it to pre-1970. The milk glass also has the "Ring of Fire" common in pre-1960s milk glass. It is particularly noticeable around the pedestal. It is a substantial vase, weighing just under 2 pounds. This 8" x 8" vase is a true vintage treasure and the Fenton brand ensure quality. The vase is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear. (The "Ring of Fire" in milk glass is an identification technique for authentic, pre-1960s pieces, which display a fiery, iridescent halo of orange, red, blue, or green when held up to natural sunlight.
