For sale is a Victorian Middletown Plate Co Bride’s Basket w/ Peach Opalescent Glass Bowl Featuring a hand-blown art glass bowl in a beautiful peach-to-white opalescent gradient with a ruffled edge, it sits in a highly ornate silverplate stand crafted by the renowned Middletown Plate Co. of Connecticut (marked and numbered 732). Material: Hard white metal / silverplate (frame), art glass (bowl) Color: Peach to white opalescent bowl Style: Victorian Markings: “Middletown Plate Co.”, “Hard White Metal”, and “732” Condition: Excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks in the glass. The metal stand has light tarnish consistent with age. Measures approximately: The bowl is about 9.5 in across in diameter.
