Features: The Shape: Unlike standard round ginger jars, this particular piece features a square-sided body paired with a circular lid, crowned with a unique blue fish-shaped finial handle on top. The Symbol: The large, stylized character prominent on the front side of the container is the Chinese Double Happiness symbol (囍, shuangxi). This character is traditionally used as an auspicious design element associated with marriage, harmony, and celebration The Motif: The background pattern showcases a classic scrollwork and peony vine design, bordered by geometric key pattern bands running along the upper neck and lid edges. Condition: it is in perfect vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Size: square body is approximately 3.5” x 3.5”. It measures approximately 5.5” tall with the lid.
