But I also have a passion for vintage glass, china, pottery, ceramics, artwork, brass, etc. I love to save these pieces from oblivion and rehome them to people who can love them. The Dance and The Duet - Pair of embroidered silk paintings
These are two beautiful framed pieces of embroidery on painted silk representing courting couples. Per the labels, they are styled after original paintings from the early 19th Century. The wood frames measure 6.25" tall by 5.25" wide. The images are 4.5" tall by 3.5" wide and covered by glass. Both are in good vintage condition; please see the photos for wear to the frames and minor small areas of discoloration at the tops of the images.
