Teal set of candle holders made by Iittala

Fabulous set of Vintage Iittala Sculptural Art Glass Candle Holders / Candlesticks. These are from the Arkipelago or the Arktia series designed by Timo Sarpaneva. They were made by Iittala of Finland. Designer and sculptor Timo Sarpaneva (1926-2006) was an internationally known force in Finnish design. He designed the "i" logo in the 1950's, which serves as the symbol of the company."This set of oval shaped candle holders are heavy, substantial, and gorgeous!. They stand 4.25 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide, and 2 inches deep.They have an aqua blue green "wave" flowing through the middle of the glass with the color reflected throughout the clear glass all the way to the top and bottom.
