Striking vintage signed Moroccan Safi pottery tea jar or spice canister featuring a beautiful mustard yellow crackle glaze accented with decorative silver-tone metal trim and matching lid. Handcrafted in Morocco, this increasingly hard-to-find piece makes a wonderful addition to any Moroccan, bohemian, eclectic, or Mediterranean décor.

Condition:

• No chips or cracks.
• Signed on the underside.
• The glaze displays natural crazing throughout, which is typical of authentic handcrafted Safi pottery and occurred during the firing process.
• Minor clay irregularities and glaze variations are original to the making of the piece and are not considered damage.
• The silver-tone metal lid finial has a couple of tiny dents.
• The silver-tone metal base shows oxidation/rusting and age-related wear consistent with vintage use.
