Scarce, highly collectible Fenton Art Glass small Rooster on Nest covered dish (Rooster Box) in beautiful, solid opaque Jadeite/Jade glass. This piece is an absolute ghost on the secondary market and a must-have for serious Fenton or vintage Jadeite collectors.This piece is solid, unpainted green glass, showcases the beautiful, rich color of the jadeite perfectly without distractions.
The Markings: Features the authentic Fenton cursive "F" inside an oval embossed on both pieces, indicating it was produced by Fenton using a coveted, acquired historical mold.The Decade Indicator: Features the tiny "0" mark next to/under the logo, strictly dating this scarce production run to the 2000–2009 decade (specifically circa 2001). The Design: Stunning split-tail rooster lid resting on a beautifully detailed, tightly woven basketweave.
