Red Wing Pottery Cookie Jar-Featuring "Dancing Peasants" Pattern

Red wing Pottery was produced in Red Wing, MN. It is made of brown-glazed stoneware and features hand-painted folk art depictions of peasants dancing-Accented w/ colorful cold paint. It was produced between the 1940s - 1950s. There are a few small chips. Cold paint is pretty much intact. However, on the lid handle there is some paint wear. The red cold paint inside the ribbed borders is worn, as well. I am unable to find any identifying makers mark. Please refer to pictures for pictures of the small chips. It measures approx 8" diameter, 5 1/2 Lbs-This will ship by itself.
