Rare Vtg (1930s) Anchor Hocking Mayfair Pink Frosted Glass Platter, Painted, 13"
Elevate your serving collection with this hard-to-find vintage Anchor Hocking Mayfair pink frosted glass platter, a piece that captures the Great Depression era. Crafted in 1933, this 13-inch round platter features a beautiful hand-painted floral design on the underside of the rim, adding a touch of bespoke charm to any table setting. The satin pink finish, softly-scalloped edges, and embossed starburst pattern makes it a stunning choice for all occasions. Proudly made in Lancaster, Ohio, this platter is a testament to the artistry of early 20th-century glassware. It stands 1.25 inches tall and weighs a substantial 2 pounds and 14.2 ounces, ensuring it remains a centerpiece even during the heaviest of feasts. Carefully preserved and requiring hand washing, this original piece is an exquisite representation of vintage craftsmanship. The platter is in excellent used condition. There are no chips or cracks. The hand-painted florals on the underside show some wear (please see pictures). Otherwise, there are some minor scuffs from use that should come out with Barkeeper's Friend.
