A holy grail for mid-century modern pottery collectors! Authentic vintage Italian art pottery elephant sculpture designed by master ceramicist Aldo Londi for Bitossi.

Hand-stamped "FLAVIA MONTELUPO ITALY" on the unglazed belly.

Features the highly coveted and rare "Rimini White" (Rimini Bianco) brutalist volcanic sand texture with deeply incised geometric patterns on both sides.
