RARE Vintage 1978 Hand Painted Strawberries Toleware Tin Pitcher By Novelda H Ferguson

Beautiful and rare find!! I purchased this beautiful toleware pitcher from a vendor while I was at Renninger's in Adamstown, Pa. recently. It is signed and dated on the bottom. It measures 6.25" tall and is about 6.3" wide, handle-to-spout. It is in great condition. Novelda Ferguson (also known as Novelda Herr Ferguson), who is now 96 years old, is an artist, illustrator, and was an active community donor based in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She is known for her toleware pieces and detailed pen and ink drawings documenting historical architecture. For decades, she has contributed her artwork to the Southern Lancaster County Historical Society's annual fundraising calendars. Exhibitions: Her folk art and regional pieces have been displayed at local exhibitions, including the Lancaster County Art Association (LCAA) membership shows.
