RARE Fostoria Light Amber Glass Rabbit #628 Figurine 4.5” Long, Circa ‘71-‘73.

This is a HTF piece from Fostoria. The group of animals that this piece came from were created starting in 1971. They are extremely modern in design making it difficult to even recognize some of the figures in this set. Less realistic features with fluid lines, they are almost globular by design. The set includes several animals including a Stork, Cat, Dolphin, Frog, Lady Bug, Owl and Rabbit. None of these animals are found in company catalogues after 1973, making them more desirable to collectors due to the limited run of production from 1971-73.
