PRICKLE & SONS Sewing Needles - 15 Pks The French text ("Importé d'Angleterre") and the crown logo mark these as high-quality Victorian-era exports, likely dating between 1880 and 1910. • W. Prickle & Sons' (Redditch, England) • Double Long (Milliners/Straw Needles) • No. 2 with "Lo. Lo. Eyes" (Long Eyes) • Each packet measures 4” x 2” CONDITION: 10 Packets: Unopened and in good vintage condition with vibrant labels. Weight of each in grams: 15.36, 15.34, 15.25, 15.23, 15.30, 15.37, 15.28, 15.23, 15.26. 3 Packets: Opened (used for display or inspection). Heavy Shelf wear visible along with re-folding. Significant fading and marks on one label. Weight of each in grams: 14.22, 15.19, 15.26. 2 Packets: Show heavier shelf wear/fading, but appear to be unopened. 1 packet has significant fading on its label. Weight of each in grams: 15.30, 15.28. Packets are wrapped in original black tarnish-resistant paper. The pink labels feature the iconic crown logo and "Importé d'Angleterre" export text.
