RARE Antique EAPG Cocktail Sorbet Glasses X2 PAIR Ohio Flint Glass GLOWS! c 1908

These rare antique EAPG cocktail/sorbet/sherbert glasses by Ohio Flint Glass are a unique find from around 1908. Featuring a thumbprint pattern and a clear color, these footed glasses are made of pressed glass with a glossy finish. With a vintage Art Deco style and a production technique of fused glass, these cocktail glasses are not only UV reactive but also date-lined and color changing, making them a fascinating addition to any collection. Made in the United States, these glasses showcase the craftsmanship and elegance of the early 1900s.

In excellent antique condition, signs of wear consistent with age, with no cracks or chips.

Please keep in mind that UV lamps/light sources vary in quality, brightness and wavelength. Not all UV reactive glass (ie uranium, manganese, selenium and cadmium glass) fluoresces under all UV lights, especially tube lights, which tend to be quite dim. The vibrancy of any and all UV reactive fluorescence is highly determined by the type of UV light you use. My UV flashlight (used to take photos of items which display their fluorescence) is 365nm and is most ideal for viewing the “glow” produced by a wider variety of UV reactive glass (most especially that of Uranium and Manganese glass), unlike a 395nm UV light which, in some cases, may not produce any fluorescent reaction or “glow” whatsoever from anything other than uranium.
