Adorable vintage ceramic planter featuring a bright yellow chick nestled beside a cracked eggshell planter. Marked “Hand Painted Japan” on the bottom, dating this piece to mid-century production (likely 1950s–1960s). The soft white eggshell has a delicate lavender airbrushed accent along the rim, and the chick features warm golden yellow tones with hand-painted orange beak and feet. Classic cottagecore charm. ✨ Details • Vintage mid-century ceramic • Marked: Hand Painted Japan • Approx. 3½” tall • Approx. 4” wide (see ruler photos for exact reference) • Gloss glaze finish ✨ Condition Good vintage condition. No cracks noted. Light crazing throughout consistent with age. Some minor surface wear and light discoloration on the base as shown in photos. Displays beautifully.
