Pair Rinconada Fur Seals - Variation

Adorable pair of vintage Artesania Rinconada Fur Seal / Sea Lion figurines - same mold, two different glaze shades!

This is a collector’s variation lot - one in dark chocolate brown, one in lighter caramel tan. Both handmade in Uruguay with the signature carved fur texture, big glossy noses and sweet whiskers.

• Maker: Artesania Rinconada / DeRosa, Uruguay

• Model: Fur Seal / Sea Lion - Brown - Classic Collection

• Material: Hand carved ceramic pottery, glazed

• Size: Each approx. 2.75" tall x 3.5" long - small shelf size

• Marks: Both signed on bottom (see last photo - two different artist initials)

• Difference:

○ Darker seal (left): deeper brown, heavier carved lines, solid black eyes

○ Lighter seal (right): lighter tan, smoother finish, blue-green eyes with white rings

Both sitting with flippers tucked, tails curled.

Condition: Very nice vintage used condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Light age wear to high points of glaze as typical. Please see close-ups of faces, fur texture, tails and bottoms.
