Pair of Gerold Porzellan, Bavaria, Germany (1937-1949) Porcelain Candle Holders
This pair of Gerold Porzellan porcelain candle holders are from Bavaria, Germany. The sculpted rose buds and stems, gold edging, and glossy finish of these candle holders make them perfect for all occasions. Measuring 8.5 inches in length, 2.5 inches in height, and 3.5 inches in width, they are the ideal size for any dining table or mantlepiece. These candle holders are from the early to mid-20th century and are printed with the green Gerald Porzellan backstamp used between 1937 and 1949. The candleholders are the Horn of Plenty with Roses product line, Model 6022. Given their age and delicacy, these candleholders are in remarkable condition. The gold edging is in excellent condition and there are no cracks. On one of the candleholder's small rosebud, two edges of the rosebud have been broken off (see last picture). However, their absence is not particularly noticeable as you look at the overall holder. Otherwise, all of the delicate porcelain work is in very good condition!
