Pair (2) - MCM Japan Salad Plates, Orange/Blue Lusterware, Hand-Painted, 7.5"

This is a set of two vintage MCM salad plates, featuring a beautiful orange and blue lusterware design with a hand-painted cherry blossom landscape pattern. There is a yellow-sided house near the tree line and two gulls flying overhead. Made in Japan in the mid-1950s, these round plates have a glossy finish and are crafted from bone china. These 7.5-inch plates are a great representation of traditional Japanese lusterware. Both plates are in excellent condition. The lustreware remains vibrant. There are no chips or cracks and there is minimal wear. If you purchase more than one item, I am happy to combine shipping to save postage cost.
