Offered for your collection is a charming, handcrafted miniature teddy bear by renowned Iowa artist Peggy Fleming. Known for her work within the Iowa Teddy Bear Makers Guild during the 1990s, Fleming’s bears are highly sought after by miniature "Arctophiles" for their intricate detail and soulful expressions. Details: This bear, named "Flannery," stands approximately 3 1/4 inches tall. It features a beautiful, "primitive" style mohair with a slightly distressed texture. Articulation: Fully jointed at the head, arms, and legs. Accessories: Comes with its original newspaper-print paper hat and a small brass-tone bell necklace. Provenance: Retains the original handwritten suede-style tag marked "Peggy Fleming" and "Des Moines, Iowa USA."
