Vintage Norway Solje Heart Crown Dove Cross Silver Gold Bunad Pin Brooch 830 vintage Norwegian Solje pin / brooch. Solje pins are a traditional jewelry in Norway intended for wearing with the national costume called bunad. This large pin is made of 830 silver, has a beautiful Heart & Crown design with small golden teardrop "spoons" hanging from scrolled doves, ornate cross dangles and has a fantastic patina. Measuring roughly 4 1/4" x 2", marked on the back with 830 S and what appears to be a butterfly mark weighing 14.2g. It has a "c" catch fastener that holds tight and secure.
