green opalescent uranium glass bowl, in the "Reverse Drapery" pattern produced by Northwood or Jefferson Glass Company in the early 1900s. Pattern: Often referred to as "Drapery" or "Reverse Drapery," featuring a stylized floral or scalloped design. Opalescent edges. Material: Uranium glass (or vaseline glass), which glows vibrantly bright green under ultraviolet (black) light. Era: Popular during the depression glass era (1920s-1930s) but produced as early as circa 1907. Usage: Decorative serving bowl or dish. 8.25” diameter 2.25” tall Excellent condition with no breaks or chips, it does tilt a little when you look from the side. Gorgeous bowl. (5014252610)
