Hand-blown teardrop glass paperweight. Vibrant teal outer layer with a deep plum inner teardrop. Smooth, glossy finish. Striking color contrast and modern look. Murano glass sommerso bowl or dish in a teardrop shape, associated with designer Flavio Poli or manufacturers like Seguso from the 1950s or 1960s. Technique: It uses the sommerso ("submerged") technique, where contrasting layers of glass are submerged within each other without mixing, creating a three-dimensional color effect. Colors: The specific piece features a vibrant purple or magenta core encased in a clear, light blue or turquoise outer layer.
