Authentic Talavera Mendez Torres butter dish signed. Handmade in Mexico. Stamped explicitly as "LEAD FREE". Safe for food or butter. Featuring intricate, layered dotting and geometric motifs on the top cover. These are classic design elements from this regional artisan. Beautiful black, white, and red enamel on clay. Hand wash with mild soap and a non-abrasive soft sponge. Avoid thermal shock. No microwave. Protect your counter tops. In excellent condition. No chips or cracks. 6 3/4" long. 4 1/2" wide and approximately 2 1/4" from top of lid to bottom.
