This beautiful mermaid tail is made with oyster shells handpicked from Fort Myers Beach. We will never take a shell with a living creature still calling it a home. The shells are then thoroughly cleaned, hand painted, trimmed in gold and using E6000 glue we glue them in place. The frame was made by Tom and measures approximately 7” tall, 5” wide and 1 ½” tall. We do take special requests. Please message us to create a custom order. Please browse my shop for other shell creations. I do combine shipping if purchasing more than one item from my shop. I will refund any and all overages at the time of printing the shipping label.

Hello Everyone!! We live on Estero Island in Florida, also known as Fort Myers Beach. We have been here for nearly 50 years! We love the beach and picking shells and sea glass. So, instead of putting them in many jars around the house we decided to turn them into pieces of art. We like to repurpose thrift store items and turn them into our own works of art. In the near future we hope to add many more pieces of art, not only shell art but also some beautiful resin art and wood art! We also have other beautiful items such as pottery and glass.
