Amazing Mary Briggs studio art pottery cup with hand drawn design of a fox chasing a rabbit towards a tree. Briggs works with terra cotta clay and uses the brush marks or drip lines of the white slip applied over the terra cotta clay to inspire her drawings. Each piece of pottery is decorated individually with consideration of composition and its relationship to the form. In great condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 4.5” tall, 3.5” in diameter.
