Limoges societe ceramique Gravy Boat Or Creamer

Limoges porcelain is renowned for its high-quality white clay (kaolin) and artistry, produced by various factories in the Limoges region since 1771. Société Céramique was one of many workshops operating during this prolific period. This is most like a creamer or gravy boat from a larger collection. Although the esthetics and maker’s mark make me believe it could be antique, the condition is amazing! If it is antique it is in phenomenal condition. The Mark: The presence of the word "FRANCE" alone typically dates the piece to between 1891 and approximately 1914. Before 1891, marks often omitted the country, and after 1914, "Made in France" became more standard for export to the U.S.
