1931 hardcover edition of The Lend-a-Hand Boys as Wild Game Protectors by St. George Rathborne. This Boy Scout-themed adventure novel was part of a four-book series and is subtitled The Little Four-footed Brother in the Fur Coat. Published by The Goldsmith Publishing Co. in Chicago, it contains 254 numbered pages and measures 7.5" x 5". The book includes the full original text and a Christmas 1939 gift inscription on the front endpaper. Cover shows moderate shelf wear, some fading to the spine, and softened corners. There is some slight separation of the binding. Pages are age-toned but complete and legible. Previous owner's inscription dated Xmas 1939 is written on the front endpaper.
