Hello! I’m so excited to be part of this network! My name is Ruth Guajardo and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I am not new at selling, my husband and partner, have owned a gift shop and gallery since 2001 called El Sol Studios. We are both Artists and makers, and of course collectors. We have However downsized and partnered with my BFF who also owned a shop as long as me and went in together instead and opened a space that holds both stores (Pulquerios/El Sol Studios. We have always had an insatiable interest in Vintage and unique finds, but our focus had been in Mexican Folk art, handmade and cultural gifts, jewelry and more, until recently. Karol Western Vintage CALIFORNIA Stained Glass Iron Teapot Hot plate Trivet VTG
This listing is for this kitschy teapot-shaped Stained Glass and Cast Iron California Trivet by Karol Western. These are vintage collector's travel souvenirs, and were introduced in the 1060's but were continued to be manufactured until the 70's and part of early 80's. These are perfect for the vintage style kitchen, or bring some nostalgia to any room. These trivets are made of cast iron and have glass inlaid for a fabulous stained glass look. It is in excellent vintage condition. There are signs of age and wear (consistent with age), as well as a small crack in one of the flower petals (see photos) but it does not impede it's function at all.It is approximately 5.75 " tall by 5.25" wide. Please view all of the photos for overall condition. I try to describe my items as much as possible and photos are a big part or the description, including measurements not included in description.
