Hello! I’m so excited to be part of this network! My name is Ruth Guajardo and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I am not new at selling, my husband and partner, have owned a gift shop and gallery since 2001 called El Sol Studios. We are both Artists and makers, and of course collectors. We have However downsized and partnered with my BFF who also owned a shop as long as me and went in together instead and opened a space that holds both stores (Pulquerios/El Sol Studios. We have always had an insatiable interest in Vintage and unique finds, but our focus had been in Mexican Folk art, handmade and cultural gifts, jewelry and more, until recently. Vintage Japanese Black Lacquered Westland Co Music Box Plays “Evergreen” w/ Tags
This listing is for this elegant vintage Japanese black lacquered Westland Co music and jewelry box featuring the "Art of Chokin” —a traditional Japanese metal engraving technique". Features a beautiful inlayed Lilies scene in multiple metal tones. It is a unique and handmade collectible piece that plays the nostalgic tune "Evergreen." It is functioning, however, you can also hear the “mechanics” of the motor-if that makes sense. Made in Japan in the 1970s, this music box exudes a classic charm with its sleek design and traditional craftsmanship. It is in excellent vintage condition, no nicks, cracks or scratches. The tags are still on the bottom including the store’s tag and the song played. Please view all of the photos for overall condition. I try to describe my items as much as possible and photos are a big part or the description, including measurements not included in description.
