Jorge Wilmot Tonala Owl Vase Speckled Glaze 4.25" Handcrafted Mexican Pottery
This handcrafted Jorge Wilmot, Tonalá vase stands 4.25 inches tall and measures 3.5 inches wide across the front, with a depth of 1⅞ inches. The form has a rounded canteen‑style body and a squared mouth. The front features an inset owl medallion — a classic Wilmot motif — while the back displays a floral plant with a perched bird. Both sides are decorated with geometric motifs and spirals, framed by a continuous brown border that outlines the entire piece. The base carries Wilmot’s characteristic hand‑inscribed “W” signature in his familiar style. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs; a beautifully preserved example of mid‑century Tonalá studio pottery. SEE PHOTOS.
