Up for sale is a stunning, authentic piece of contemporary studio art glass hand-blown by the late Pacific Northwest artisan John Cook (1947–2013). This 5-point sea star features a brilliant, color-shifting iridescent metallic luster finish that flashes hues of cobalt blue, violet, green, and gold under the light. The surface is beautifully detailed with a natural pebbled, dimpled texture.The underside is hand-signed and dated in script script: "Cook 2002". Crafted at his former studio in Gearhart, Oregon, this is a beautiful, heavy collector's piece that functions perfectly as a premium desk paperweight or coastal home decor focal point. 1.5 lbs S1-40B Condition: No condition issues noted.
