Jack Black Native American Pottery Couple in Prayer Ceramic Sculpture This pottery piece depicts a couple on a large rock in prayer in front of a prayer bowl. This sculpture is in excellent vintage condition. No Chips or Cracks. Jack Black was a well-regarded Native American artist. A member of the Navajo tribe and a skilled potter. Black’s artwork has a unique style, and his subject matter usually includes stylized Native American people in various actions of everyday life. Each of Jack Black’s sculptures is unique, no two are exactly alike. When Black died in 2002, all of his potter’s molds were destroyed, making his existing works rarer and more valuable.
