I am a retired professor, writer and single Mom. I have been selling for vintage, funny anthropomorphic figures, folk art, pottery, vintage jewelry, and whatever else catches my interest.

Israeli Dancer Wood Raised Placque Wall Hanging Israel Artisan
I love the form of the Dancer here. The shape is carved from wood and really depicts the movement. The plaque is 13" tall and 8" wide. There are a few flecks of white on the black background, which seems to be normal wear and use on a black surface. On the back, there is what appears to have been an old water stain, long dried and one that never reached the front. There is a bracket for displaying the scene and there are marks that state, in very faded letters "Made in Isreal" and the number 38.
