Indiana Carnival Glass "Harvest Grape" Iridescent Amber Biscuit Jar

This belongs to Indiana Glass's highly successful marigold production run from the 1960s and 1970s. The glass base is a warm amber color, treated with an iridescent metallic glaze that reflects brilliant flashes of pink, magenta, green, and bright gold when rotated under direct light. The body of the jar is structured into eight distinct flat vertical panels, giving it a heavy, geometric barrel silhouette. Large embossed clusters of grapes and curling vines decorate alternating panels around the jar's body. The lid is crowned with a highly textured, multi-faceted handle molded to mimic a pineapple or dense berry cluster. Measures 7 inches high and 4 1/2 inches in diameter.
