Huge heavier 15 inch Vintage Asian theme Plate Charger
This item is a vintage decorative porcelain display plate from the "Siam" series, designed after traditional Far Eastern artwork. Vintage late 20th century.
Design Details
- Style: Heavily influenced by classic Japanese Imari and Chinese export trade wares, featuring a distinctive palette of rust-orange, cobalt blue, black, and bright gold accents.
- Motif: A central underglaze blue and white circular medallion showcasing an oriental figure in a landscape under a full moon, framed by stylized phoenix or peacock feathers. The scalloped border features alternating geometric dark bands and cartouches containing painted female figures.
- Distributor/Manufacturer: While distributed or imported under the "Dynasty" brand name (as shown by the backstamp), pieces with this exact pattern were widely manufactured for decorative export by the German porcelain company AK Kaiser during the late 20th century. It's very large 15 inches across, it's simply stunning! Gorgeous, rich color combinations, you rarely see a piece like this anymore.
