Horse Sculptures Statues Set of 2

These horse statues are absolutely fantastic!! They look like carved wood that is worn and distressed, but I believe they are resin (beams are metal). Large measures 17 1/2"H to top of ears x 11 1/2"L tail to nose, small measures 13"H to top of ears x 10" tail to nose. As I have no idea of age on these (can't find any like them) not sure how much of the distressed finish is actual wear or intentional, there are a few scuffs to metal beams. Please review photos for condition.
