Haviland Limoges Porcelain 6-Well Oyster Plate Pink Gilt Antique A1268

Elegant antique French Haviland & Co. Limoges porcelain oyster plate with six large shell-shaped wells surrounding a central sauce or lemon well. The decoration is unusually refined, with soft blush pink shading, warm brown hand-painted oyster details, and delicate linear accents over a bright white porcelain ground. The sculpted shell form gives the plate a very graceful, naturalistic look.
