Handmade Red Resin Horse Figurine On Hand-Coiled Pine Needle Basket Top W Beads.

This listing is for this truly unique, one-of-a-kind mixed media folk art piece. This striking handmade piece features a vintage, detailed faux-cinnabar/dark red resin stallion horse figurine dynamically posed and securely mounted at the center.

The horse is beautifully framed inside a gorgeous, tightly hand-coiled pine needle basket top. Highlighting the intricate stitch work is a full ring of polished colorful plastic and ceramic accent beads nestled beautifully into the weave.

This is a fantastic, ready-to-display statement piece for anyone who loves Southwestern decor, horse collectibles, or unique handmade basketry. It can also be a unique basket lit or top for an existing basket.

It is in fabulous vintage condition, no chips or cracks. There are signs of wear, however, on the horse’s mouth, most noticeable, consistent with age.
