Handmade Decorative Italian Stoneware Milk Jug Raffaellesco Dragon

Made in Siene, Italy. Marked on bottom. The outside is beautifully hand painted with a raffaellesco dragon and other decorations with no chips or cracks. The spout is elongated. There are 2 areas inside the pitcher where the ceramic material is exposed and the glaze does not cover it. One other area where there is a bump underneath the glaze. All the defects look like they were probably made at the time of production. Because the ceramic is exposed, this lovely pitcher is not safe to be used with food.
