Halloween Orange and Black earrings, with Rhinestone spacers

Halloween earrings !! Bright orange glass round beads that have a paint splatter on them in the same color as the bead, and I used an antique brass bead cap on the bottom, with a large oversized rhinestone spacer above it. I used a black glass faceted bead for the top. The orange beads were taken from a bracelet I took apart years ago. The spacer is also from some jewelry taken apart, as are the black beads in this piece. As always, ear wires and head pins were new.

I usually do not mix metals but since the rhinestones were so big, I felt having the silver around them would not take away from the otherwise antique brass tones of the piece. It is sometimes fun to mix up metals and it worked well on this piece.
