Fostoria Heirloom Pink Opalescent Swung Glass Vase Mid Century Modern Vintage
This stunning swung glass vase from the Heirloom Pink collection: a beautiful blending of white and pink in vertical ribs that gives the entire piece, from its scalloped rim to (especially) its hobnail base, a magical quality that is hard to describe (see close-up photo). The Heirloom Pink collection was produced between 1959-1970. The Fostoria Glass Company was founded in Fostoria, Ohio, in 1887. It subsequently moved to Moundsville, West Virginia, in 1891 and continued to be a premier American Glassware manufacturer until its closure in 1986. Measurements: 6 3/4" tall, 1 1/2" in diameter at rim and base, narrows to 3/4" in diameter at center of piece. New With Imperfection: there is one tiny chip on one of the hobnail base sections - it's so tiny I was unable to capture it in a photo.
